Seriously, she does have a remarkable talent for painting. But... I'm not buying the self taught part. They repeat it so much it's like they really REALLY need to make us believe it.

For those who care about factual accuracy: "Ollie" is what Oliver North's mom called him, and the "hard time" was a series of Iran-Contra hearings (Ollie got off). Gore, naturally, was not connected to the hearings at all. Also, in 1987 OBL was our ally, and in any case his name was not brought up during the hearings at all.
