The narrator's best crowning moment of awesome in the series was basically Ron Howard stringing the audience along for an entire episode with hints that Andy Griffith would make a cameo AS HIMSELF, IN MATLOCK COSTUME, and then NOT.

Because he could've actually done that if he really wanted to, this is Ron Fucking Howard we're talking about.
