No cartoon with Tim Curry as the villain could be anything but badass.
Binro the Heretic
Not just Tim Curry, Tony Jay, Rob Paulson, Tress MacNeil, Richard Moll and the lava dude was apparently Frank Welker. How have I never heard of this show before?

The animation is a bit dodgy, but you can't beat the voice talent.

Did you ever watch The Adventures of Peter Pan?

Oh shit, i used to own a couple of toys from this.

Ditto, I had this elaborate island shaped like a dragon head playset. question though, is the same guy who voices raph from teenage mutant ninja turtles the same guy who voices Max? Either way this show deserved way more attention than it got.

I actually had one of the toys from post-this-show, where it also came with a little owl guy in addition to max and the monsters. Those things were cool. I wonder if they still make Polly Pocket style toys anymore.

Xenocide
Yep, Rob Paulson played both Max and Raphael. He was also Pinky on Pinky and the Brain, and, perhaps most impressively, he played "Crew Member #5" in Free Willy 2.

Frank Welker week!

this show was great
Xenocide
Surprisingly not based on a video game, despite the fact that it ends with the hero dying and being sent back to the start of the level.

Even Barbie and the Three Musketeers? Tim Curry has done a bazillion cartoon voices. I thought this was going to be the Might Max episode were there is a war with people from different times and they all get killed. It's kind of like the end of Time Bandits only with more people getting killed.
