notascientist I find that this man has insulted my scientific honor. Where can I challenge him to a duel?
|
James Woods Everybody dies unless they drink this shit. The modern world is fucked, so get yourself an RV, plug your juicer into it, and live forever baby.
|
Hooker Wait, isn't that still processing the food?

pastorofmuppets This is what I have to put up with to see the bands I like. I'm not saying he should go back to the detox farm he got clean just long enough to be be released from, I'm just saying I can't see my car in the parking lot over his RV.

THA SUGAH RAIN I once saw a very convincing documentary about how Vitamin B-17 is a scientifically proven cancer cure. "Eat your veggies" is less convincing.

memedumpster I love it when Jesus escapes the Vatican dungeon.

Urburos All of this hippie life affirmation crap aside, cancer cells have shown a tendency to be hindered inside alkaline environments. Hence the reason that people who show a tendency toward veganism (cutting things like milk, meat, eggs, anything else that could create their own cancer cells) have a tendency to be much healthier.
I was going to point out putting a heavy focus on ingesting green vegetables before I heard him start mentioning it.
Have you ever seen a fat vegan? Let me know if you find one.

BorrowedSolution The pH balance of the body is fairly tightly regulated to between 7.35-7.45. The effects of loading alkaline substances into the system are minimal at best. (http://www.brighamandwomens.org/healtheweightforwomen/special_top ics/intelihealth0506.aspx?subid=submenu10)
It's kind of the same reason that vitamin mega-dosing is questionable; Your body has certain levels that it likes to keep these things at, and it won't be fooled by your diet.
I'm not saying it's not good to get all your vitamins and eat your veggies.
It's just not a miracle, either.
