You know, you'd think if your really into video games, if you really love video games...you'd think you wouldn't boo at the possibility getting a FREE video game system!?
I fucking love gaming, and while I may prefer to play some systems more than others, unless its something obviously shitty, I would adore being able to win a video game system(hey means more games to play way I see it) , especially if all I had to do was partake in some stupid trivia contest. What a bunch of spoiled ungrateful cunts.
This was in no way interesting, and I don't think it would be with context, either.
Proving that PS3 lovers (as opposed to omni-system enthusiasts) are retarded.
It doesn't make sense to buy a PS3 for FPS titles, and it doesn't make sense to buy a 360 for JRPGs. They both have their merits and do different things better than the other.
??? There are more exclusive FPSers on PS3 and more JRPGs on 360. They're all shitty as far as I can tell, but there it is.
The PS3 has more exclusive FPSs that run along the lines of Resistance, MAG, and Haze. The 360 has more JRPGs like Magna Carta 2 and various forgettable titles who'se name I don't care to look up.
At any rate, most of what I was saying about my friend took place in the Ps2/Xbox days.
All pure-console lovers sound like this to me.
At this point the 360 doesn't have a lot of exclusive rpgs anymore. Star Ocean 4, Tales of Vesperia among other are being released for the ps3, and that's because the 360 in japan can barely sell a couple of consoles per week.
but the game is on 360 isn't it? This doesn't make sense to me.
Basically, some people (sony fans, I guess. I can't imagine they're just square fans, it wouldn't make sense that they wouldn't want the game to be multi console and sell better) feel that MS 'stole' final fantasy away from sony because they're a big dumb evil corporation etc, and are loyal to sony, hence this. Does it make sense? No. I can understand if they bought a P3, couldn't afford a 360, then this was announced as 360 only, leaving them out of the game they bought the console for, but that's not the case, so this is dumb.
Some are saying that the game got some things cut for the american market because of the time the ms version sucked away. This is obviously not true, and the cuts seem to be pretty much invisible, but don't even dare contradict them, cuz the're gonna thumb down your comment to oblivion.
one of my sisters lives in japan and she says that in the west we often get a crapper version of the game shipped a lot later. Makes you wonder why people still buy this shit to be honest.
I must be getting old because I can no longer tell who is male and who is female in these damn games.
Honestly, the American market for games is getting better and better all the time. We're seeing less imports as a result, while games like Uncharted, Mass Effect, and God of War are taking the spotlight.
Really, the only company that still brings over the majority of it's titles is Nintendo these days, but that's only because Nintendo is the only company that gives a fuck about the wii (rightly so, I might add).
Final Fantasy fanboys are children.
Everybody in this room needs a bullet.
So then I take it they arent playing it on PS3 either?? Since, you know, Final Fantasy originated as a Nintendo property.
If I could take back my stars and give em to you I would, good fucking point Pain.
Final Fantasy is the closest thing gaming has to General Hospital.
Not saying I don't enjoy it, but my beard is far too long for me to consider it the alpha and omega of RPG series.
I hear you, I fucking love Final Fantasy to be honest, and while its my personal favorite RPG series, I cant say its the absolute best RPG series (if anything that crown may go to the Mass Effect series, in terms of recent console RPGs).
..though once upon a time it came fairly close, or more to the point I suppose it seemed Square could do no wrong with its RPGs.
I consider myself a Final Fantasy fan but jesus christ all the bullshit surrounding FFXIII and it's being ported to the 360 is embarrassing to me as a human being.
