I really liked this movie but this trailer is terrible.
Highly underrated.

Yeah, this is a genuinely good movie. It was awesome to have a decent story as a grounding in a sci-fi film, a genre that almost always boils down to some aspergers-riddled writer jerking off about spaceship engines and how the Singularity will make being a privileged white male even more awesome or just copying other genres but IN SPACE!

Really good movie.

The Mothership
This movie is awesome solely for the fact that it has 'Gatt' in the title.

Fun Fact:, GATTICA refers to the seven amino acids that make up human DNA: Guanine, Adenine, Thymine, Thymine, Adenine, Cytosine and Adenine.
You realize that spells out GATTACA and not GATTICA.

I'm sorry, I just had to.

No, amino acids make proteins.

No, not a fun fact.

The Mothership
never comment when you're really tired...

Amino acids make up protein. Guanine, Thymine, Adenine, and Cytosine are components called nucleotides that make up nucleic acids (i.e. DNA and RNA).

Good flick.

Saw this movie when I was eleven and found it frustratingly boring :(
It does fall a bit short in the explosions and shootings and fistfights on top of burning skyscrapers, yes. As such it cannot possibly be any good.

Well, I was 11.
I remember that I didn't like any of the characters. They were too dreary. I also recall leaving the cinema slightly depressed.

I see your point, but why were you going to a theatre to see Gattaca at 11 in the first place?

This film was a pleasant surprise when I first saw it in the theatre.
Mike Tyson?!
This a really bland movie, guys.
My vote cancels your non-vote. That works somehow.

Yay for very rarely good science fiction!
this falls into that weird movie area where i would have rather read it than watched it but i still enjoyed it. :/ 2012- its also a lil dated
