Well, I get the feeling I'm missing a lot of context here, but I would point out that the Parkie is the only one that's not obese.

Ocyrus - 2010-03-17
I might start going to Tea Party rallies just to fight some of these goons.
pastorofmuppets - 2010-03-17 did you hear obamacare includes bodyguards for shitty fighters? that's just too far. it's spend spend spend, i wanna know when we're going to get this debt under control OH SHIT IRAN JUST ATTACKED US SORT OF

Binro the Heretic - 2010-03-17
This is the new tactic of the neocons. Apparently, the EVUL LIEBERALS use targets that most people would be reluctant to attack, such as people suffering from debilitating diseases, economically disadvantaged children, widows of honored war veterans, etc.
So they have to show they are more than willing to attack these targets.
dead_cat - 2010-07-21 That's a flawed premise. I'd kick a crying hypocritical giant baby-man in the nuts if I thought he was spouting shit deserving of it -- of course I'd argue with him.
APE_GOD - 2010-03-17
We need to give all these senior citizens in the Tea Party exactly what they want: a healthcare system deviod of socialist policy.
Pull their medicare and let them all die.
Camonk - 2010-03-17
I've said it before, and I'll say it again: Libertarians are the worst Americans.
Now, you might argue that these aren't real libertarians, and I might well agree. But damned if I give a shit about distinguishing between libertarians and fake ones. They're all equally awful.
badideasinaction - 2010-03-18 Libertarianism and Communism are both sides of the same coin. They're the perpetual motion machines of politics - both seem so elegant and functional on paper, and both fail equally hard in practice.
pastorofmuppets - 2010-03-18 Perpetual motion only makes sense if you weren't paying attention in high school. Not that it affects your analogy any.
Camonk - 2010-03-26 I use the same comparison and it blows people's MINDS.
Charles - 2010-03-17
This is a pretty much spot-on representation of the core beliefs of Teabaggers. Which is to say I am not surprised, but I wish against all odds that I could be. 5
charmlessman - 2010-03-17
Worthless wastes of my oxygen. Somebody needs to tell them they need to pay for it now.
Siebenstein - 2010-03-17
5 Stars for the description.
Nithing - 2010-03-17
As if re-education camps would be overstepping the mark for these people. Pfft.
Charles - 2010-03-17 Well... probably. But with our public education, you can't get any more out of it than what you put into it. I'm willing to guess the majority of these assholes either dropped out early or simply dismissed anything that didn't fit with their parents' religious beliefs.
wtf japan - 2010-03-21 You must not have had a public education in a rural or underprivelidged community. It is extremely possible to do quite well in such an institution and learn absolutely nothing. And that's the BEST case scenario.
Caminante Nocturno - 2010-03-17
They had their childish responses rehearsed just in case a chance to use them would come up.
phalsebob - 2010-03-17
No, it's ok to mock the ill. Rush Limbaugh has shown us.
Cat_Mech - 2010-03-17 Conversely, the Tea Party idiots are probably the best thing the Left has going for it right now.
Why spend money demonizing the Right when they are doing such a great job themselves, for free?
On the other hand, if you were of the mind to think that it doesn't matter which party has power, the same routine will be carried out, looking at the impetus the Left gets from the mass revulsion to the way these people act, and the failure to use it to pass any real left wing measures could be a good argument.
That's just speculative conjecture, of course.
pastorofmuppets - 2010-03-17 RoUS: You had me until "think later." I've yet to see any evidence of that.
pastorofmuppets - 2010-03-17 Cat_Mech: the people who say, "it's all the same, regardless of who you vote for" are really saying, "I don't have an issue that I care enough about to cause me to pay attention to anyone's platform"
StanleyPain - 2010-03-17
The unhinged right in this country has a very weird train of logic that, frankly, seems to be a few miles down the road of mental illness. They seem to think that people effected by serious political issues don't have any right to actually speak on the topic and that doing so is "using their illness to their advantage", similar to how the people who lost family in 9/11 apparently had no right to express any opinion on it other than NEVAR FORGET.
This hearkens back to when Michelle Malkin made a target out of that little kid who was used as sort of the public face of the SCHIP program, and in fact it's happening again. Some little kid who was at some pro-health bill rally or something is now getting the same death threats and hate calls, etc.
These people hate being thought of as crazy, but damn if the shit they do isn't some weapons-grade crazy shit that would get most people taken off the streets.

This makes me feel sick.

sosage - 2010-03-17
Throwing cash. In this economy? That's classy +2.

joelkazoo - 2010-03-17
My grandpa died of Parkinson's. It's one of the slowest and most painful ways to die. I hope every single one of the assholes in this video gets it, especially the one that was literally throwing money at the guy.
phalsebob - 2010-03-18 A friend of mine has it as well. The shakes bother him, but it's the extreme exhaustion that it brings about that he really hates. Anyways, yes it does suck big time.
zatojones - 2010-03-17
It's suddenly private. Is this the video?

wtf japan - 2010-03-17 For a moment, I was hoping that teabaggers have been on a serial Parkinsons mocking spree. But, alas, that is the same video--albeit longer and with a voice-over.
magnesium - 2010-03-17
I'd get it if these were a bunch of self-made millionaires or aristocratic heirs to various fortunes, but they never are. Most of these teabagger life failures would be long dead if it weren't for all the social programs and labour laws and government intervention and taxes paid by richer people. I wouldn't be surprised if half of them are either on welfare or workman's comp.
divinitycycle - 2010-03-17
This kind of shit is why the teabaggers will never win. Its very hard to have broad, populist appeal when you have shit like this going down. More like this, please!
sosage - 2010-03-18 Being broad and populist is difficult when you only care about yourself and those that look/smell/fat like you being the ones to benefit from anything.
Syd Midnight - 2010-03-18 People like this stopped voting Democrat when the Democrats stopped hating blacks. Priorities, you know.

Re: the last lady and her made up talking points
We used to have a state-run program that took care of a portion of the employees. The business I work for used to pay a lot less to insure the remaining employees.

MAKIN' IT RAIN!!!!!

TeenerTot - 2010-03-18
I am also disturbed by the teabagger who brought his baby to the hatefest.
memedumpster - 2010-03-18
Can't the police beat these people under some bogus provision of the Patriot Act somewhere? These kinds of protests would have never happened under Bush, not without some beatings.
zerobackup - 2010-03-19
Point already brought up...but MEDICARE IS SOCIALIZED MEDICINE. We already have socialized medicine so these people are screaming about nothing. Nothing in politics makes me angrier than FOX news taking this fringe group and putting them all over the news as if they mattered. That is just fucking evil.
AmericanAir - 2010-03-30
That cocksucker is probably still getting high-fives from his mongoloid buddies. Not to mention the fire it probably lit in his wife's pants. "First, the wood-paneling in the rumpus room and now this! FUCK ME, FREEDOM WARRIOR!" Luckily (for us) his semen/testicles are likely rendered useless from years of riding his leased jet ski.
Dig your holes deep, jackasses.
APE_GOD - 2010-04-07 The leased jet-ski part.
Pro.
