Joke 1: Parody of creepy, low budget, community broadcasting that exists here and there everywhere. If you've seen any, it's pretty spot on.

Joke 2: Recurring character Pierre. Creepy, insane, possibly kiddy diddler, weird obsession with other people's fathers, sing-a-along show ctv host. Doesn't want your meat to get warm.

Joke 3: Callbacks to two different sketches from earlier episodes.

I've been a T&E fan since Awesome Show episode 1 (Tom Goes to the Mayor I thought was bleh), and I've become convinced that the best way to view the show would be to have all the sketches chopped up and re-ordered. It doesn't seem like it if you watch only one episode... but it really is a bizarre episodic sketch show.

I can see where you're coming from. Somehow the idea that commercial like the Credit Pimp were actually on TV with the hopes of being taken seriously gets an extra laugh out of me. Still, even without that 'extra' laugh, I enjoyed this enough as it is.
