Probably because the original was either under Red State or Stroke Guy.
Still, it's been far too long to wait for the promised AOTC review.

Aw crap, for a second I thought this was the next review.
I'm relieved. I have a meeting to get to, and when I saw this I thought "Aw damn, no way am I walking away from the computer now."
a shame I tell you a shame

People need to accept that Star Wars is best experienced when you're a little kid. That's why the new generation of kids loves TPM best but thinks that ANH and ESB are boring.
Actually, my friend had honestly never seen Star Wars as a kid, and saw it when he was about 20 or 21. He still liked the old ones far better than the newer ones.

Phantom Menace is cluttered with eye candy, which may be more stimulating to the average child. But then again, it also swings to explaining the boring, nonsensical plot every five minutes as well. And that fucking pod race... and Anakin's bumbling aerial victory... fuck. Why did you have to bring back memories of that bullshit?
Nevertheless, Phantom Menace brings back some good memories, since I watched the chinese bootleg version which spelled the title as 'The Phanto Manace' and had a negative review on the jacket cover. It was filmed from a cinema audience, and the crowd gave a standing ovation when the theme music began, but became less and less enthusiastic as the film progressed. There were no more cheers after the appearance of Anakin.
