I know agreeing with Binro is not very popular, but as someone who has taken a fair share of punches to the face in his life (I AM A BOUNCER), I must say, you usually are at least half expecting them and absorb some of the impact by riding the motion and twisting your head to the side prior to impact. They also usually don't come from someone twice your size.

Still, all kids who's voice hasn't broken deserve to be punched because it is glorious. Nothing personal, it's just the artistry involved is meritorious and an end in itself. That is why life gives us older brothers.

I'm pretty sure that wasn't a prank. That is someone accidentally hitting his friend's little brother who just HAD to hang out. And now he's crying like a baby because he felt real pain for the first time in his life.

It is important that they shared this important life moment with the world, so others can learn from his mistakes. Chief among them is that you never talk like a faggy brit or you will get punched in the face.

My vote against prank is watching the guy throwing the punch - watch him reflexively cradle his hand after impact, then try and play it off after he realizes how hard he hit that kid. The other guy's laughing it off because he doesn't realize how hard the other guy hit him.

Jeebus, poor kid. 5 stars for trauma.

I was seeing it this way:

Look at it like the punching kid was expecting to deliver a fake gut-punch to the kid - if he was coming around upright, the actual impact zone would have been well behind the contact point we get here. Only the kid came around head first and because of that about a foot further ahead than the punching kid.

Kid comes around upright at a normal speed: punch gets pulled, kid does the goofy wrestling thing of jumping up and curling in to take the punch, no big deal. Instead the kid comes around face first straight into a fist. Could be wrong, but I'd say the impact is certainly real - like I said, watch the punching guy immediately cradle his hand.
