Well, it's about goddamned time. I've been waiting for this ever since it was announced.

It doesn't look ... great, but I'm still getting it.

Movies by and for nerd with cats named Nigger Man.

Lovecraft stories don't translate into movies very easily because of his philosophy that an undescribed monster is far more horrifying in the mind of the reader than one you give the details of. But it's nice to see people at least trying to make his stories into movies.

FeeFiFoFoTheFifeFifeBrown - 2010-04-13

Yeah, because that dumb dead dildo never described his monsters. Yup.

manfred - 2010-04-14

Lovecraft stories do not make good movies because he was unable to write dialogue or characterization.

memedumpster - 2010-04-14

I always thought the Temple would make a decent movie. Because the characters in it are arrogant racists, Lovecraft wrote them with a roundness and depth you don't get in most of his other stories.

Paracelsus - 2010-04-14

Yeah, yeah, maybe you can't, or shouldn't, try to make a movie about Azathoth or whatever. But the spine of any good Lovecraft hack story is the the human effects, the human terror, the human outrage and depravity. That you can film. Also, he's not that great.

Really good for amateur stuff.
