Let's see, you've got Pee-Wee's Big Adventure which was one of the best movies of the 80s, Batman single-handled lifted the franchise from two decades of BAM! POW! camp, Edward Scissorhands which was a charming modern-day fairytale, Nightmare Before Christmas which did stuff with stop-motion that had never been done before, Ed Wood was a charming and heartfelt biopic that did its star justice without being cruel, and Mars Attacks! was a clever send-up of 50s sci-fi, Sleepy Hollow was a modern-day Hammer Horror movie.

But some of his recent movies suck and Hot Topic sells his stuff, so TWO STARS HURR DURR HIPSTERS
