it is so nice to see and at the same time sad, because you cannot for the life of you pry calculators out of american kids hands
Foux du Fafa
Wait, why is technology sad? I fail to see the advantage of being able to do this when you don't need to. It IS impressive though. Want to come to the casino and play some blackjack Yugi? Did I just answer my own question? Ok, so there might be SOME advantages...
I'd rather have kids trained in the use of calculators from elementary school, because when they get to high school and college they'll need to know how to operate one for the work they'll be doing. Complaining about kids using calculators is like complaining about kids not learning shorthand. You are either old as fuck (like, older than my grandfather) or so ignorant as to be unaware that any math more complex than basic arithmetic even exists.
Neat video, though.

It is by will alone I set my mind in motion. It is by the juice of sapho that thoughts acquire speed, the lips acquire stains, the stains become a warning. It is by will alone I set my mind in motion.

I don't see an abacus when those numbers flash by, I just keep seeing boobies

That was badass. I wish we could do something like this in the States.
