If Fundamentalists believe Satan is fighting for their souls, I think that's as clear a sign you can get that he's already won. They already worship money, bitterly opposing healing others for free, advocate war and bigotry, and despise the meek and peacemakers.

MrBuddy This stands out for me because I remember it happening when I was a kid in 1978. 918 members of the Peoples Temple religious group drank Flavor-Aid (a Kool-Aid knock off) mixed with cyanide. The metaphor "drink the Kool-Aid" means to blindly follow everyone else to your destruction. It's like calling someone a lemming except that the lemming, mass suicide thing is a hoax.
