this is great stuff, it kind of reminds me of earlier DOA, with a dash of some anti-human league.
MUSIC LIKE THEY USED TO MAKE MAKE IT, NOW GET OFF MY LAWN, OK?
buying the cd now, thanks for posting this.
Their followup "The Chemistry of Common life" is rather awesome too, though it depends on your willingness to move away from the more classic hardcore two-step - it kinda drifts into shoegaze mixed with hardcore territory. I think it's also brilliant, albeit different. It pissed off all the hardcore purists they gained with this but made them critical darlings. I'd post stuff from that as well, but the album tracks don't seem to be around. Look around for "Son the Father" and "The Chemistry of Common Life" for a good picture of what that album brings.
I was with you until you started sounding like a huge fucking douche. Your statement should have been two sentences and then you should have shut your stupid hipster yap.
Wow, you need to cut down on the coffee. Or meth. Or steroids.
I was pointing out there stuff comes in two kinda-different styles, and some people are partial to one but not the other. I like 'em both, personally - I think Chemistry is a fucking brilliant album, but some of the early fans weren't big on it. I would have added the above tracks but I couldn't find a good vid online of them.
Sorry that giving nuance to a description of a band makes me a hipster douche in your eyes. I'll remember to speak to you in single syllable words in the future if this continues to confuse you.
BAND IS LOUD. MAKE NOISE. LEAD GUY SCREAM.
