Thank Christ for that. A news clip that sounds like an Onion News Network piece that actually is an Onion News Network piece.

Zarathustra00 - 2010-05-25

I opened this and was almost surprised when it turned out to be an ONN piece. All they need to do is change the setting to Texas and mention the recent curriculum decisions there and this clip would be complete.

Ageusiatic - 2010-05-26

I too would not have been surprised were this real. Saddening.

phalsebob - 2010-05-25

So... will this be a real issue just before the 2012 election, or after.

Mike Tyson?! - 2010-05-25

The Onion hasn't been funny since it was just a preview of actual politics in 2 years. Thumbs down.

Cheese - 2010-05-25

"Mtv Scientists..."

Riskbreaker - 2010-05-25

It's not funny when it's way too real.

The Mothership - 2010-05-25

The dioramas... Jesus.

Nikon - 2010-05-25

I was so glad to discover this was merely an Onion clip and not something that is currently transpiring. The powerpoint, dioramas, performances, etc. were all great.

Camonk - 2010-05-26

The headline was entirely believable. We all know this.

splatterbabble - 2010-05-26

Where do they get these kids?

twinkieafternoon - 2010-05-26

I keep saying it: the Onion has an incredible casting director.

pastorofmuppets - 2010-05-26

We can laugh about this is that the Supreme Court's done an all right job of protecting science class.

But next year's history books left out King George. Apparently the US was founded by Jesus after he walked across the Atlantic to build the first McDonalds.

* "because the Supreme"
