For those who missed it, Beck is trying to start another "day" thing (like trying to do 9/12 last year) in August. His stated goal is to "take back the civil rights movement" because it no longer resembles what it once meant and it will make him a historical figure well on the level of MLK or Gandhi and will redefine all American history from that moment on. No, I am not exaggerating.
Yes, a white man who is an undeniable bigot and generally anti-humanitarian is characterizing himself as one of the most important civil rights figures in history.
