Brought to you by the people who made MTV Sports?

could be a lot more evil

Riskbreaker - 2010-06-28

Watch a couple more of his videos. Basically they follow a similar path: Trying to be neutral at first, or in the middle, then full blowing a lot of bullshit to justify whatever crap he believes to be the truth.

Before I watched this video starring Johnny McTryingtoohard, I foolishly assumed Rush Limbaugh makes a lot of money because he has a lot of listeners, as well as really good agents and lawyers who know how to negotiate juicy contracts. But nah, it must be because CBS isn't mean enough to Obama.

Bonus stars for talking about how Limbaugh and Fox News are seemingly more popular than oxygen yet somehow not part of the mainstream media.

Tear-Aid.
Eek-onomics.
I like hurglburglflrf at the end though.

dystopianfuturetoday - 2010-06-28

The media doesn't lean left or right, it leans corporate, which generally means leftish-path-of-least-resistance on social issues and rightish-felate-big-money on financial issues.

Anyone who thinks 'voting with your wallet' is a meaningful form of democracy is a moron.

Oktay - 2010-06-28

The media "leans corporate" is exactly right.

PegLegPete - 2010-06-28

Ah the market, great oracle of our time.

takewithfood - 2010-06-28

Wow, that's a lot of assumptions in 5 minutes. Good job.

Toenails - 2010-06-28

GOOGLE JEW MEDIA

phalsebob - 2010-06-28

Conservatives are so helpful!

fluffy - 2010-06-28

Yeah using free market theory totally isn't based on a conservative bias AT ALL

Robin Kestrel - 2010-06-28

Both sides of an issue: country, AND western.

StanleyPain - 2010-06-28

FOR THE REC-ORD!!! Err..wait I mean....what you ought to know...yeah..

SDAusmus - 2010-06-28

Hopw long until this guy is arrested soliciting a blowjob in a highway rest stop?

kingarthur - 2010-06-29

His theory would be right if and only if the market existed in a vacuum, which it does not. See also, shitloads of lawyers, fat contracts, corporate media, etc etc.

kingarthur - 2010-06-29

You'd also be forced to assume that everyone (alternative press on both left and right) had an equal amount of money with which to partake of said market, which is also bullshit.

Udderdude - 2010-06-29

Face punchability rating: High

charmlessman - 2010-06-29

Glenn Beck and Keith Olbermann are two sides of the same coin? Noooooooooooo, no no no. Also, what does, "One of them... is still on the air." mean? Keith is on every weekday, jackass.

He's assuming that it's the people who are making the decisions, and that the market reflects their decisions. He is not taking into account that the media, especially the right, feeds itself by concentrating on fear and anger. Feed someone enough paranoia and they'll follow you anywhere, just ask Jim Jones/David Koresh/Marshall Applewhite. FauxNews is popular for the same reason televangelists are; some people like being insulated and told what to hate.

themilkshark - 2010-06-29

I hope his brain hurts when he's making these
