Yeah, I remember the Mini-Pops as a kid in Canada. In retrospect, yeah, I can understand why some of the things did give off the creepy vibe, but most of it seemed like kids having fun. Of course, as a kid it never crossed my mind. I don't think my parents would have ever bought it, probably more for their own sanity than any controversy. Rather long, but still an interesting watch for what the story was at the time that I was too young to know about.
