Goethe and ernie - 2010-07-15

Like having your inner ear massaged by a gentle beastman

Chalkdust - 2010-07-16

congratulations, Goethe and ernie, you've won the 2010 Uly Award for Best Description of Listening to Ulillillia in a Darkened Room

tmavomodry - 2010-07-15

he's getting bored working on this game

baleen - 2010-07-15

Ooh! A guy! I love how he always assumes we are right there with him, coding over his shoulder like the closest of friends.

Sputum - 2010-07-15

I actually sort of wanted him to explain that HSV business a little more. He must consider it a trade secret to not describe it in exhaustive detail.

Udderdude - 2010-07-15

Doing stuff with RGB -> HSV and back is a bit of a pain.

The God of Biscuits - 2010-07-15

The best part is that in the Youtube description, Ulillillia says that it took him a year to come up with the idea of using one platform sprite and changing the palette, instead of millions of platform sprites in different colors. Ass burgers indeed.

fluffy - 2010-07-15

I also love the terms he comes up with for describing them. As far as I can tell, "active neutralization" and "passive neutralization" refer to wind resistance and/or friction.

Sputum - 2010-07-15

I believe it's dorkier than that. I actually think they refer to him losing interest in programming, and playing final fantasy respectively. He makes up nonsense words to describe everyday things pretty often, if you look at his site.

poorwill - 2010-07-15

Ulillillia, it is really uncomfortable seeing a human ball up like Sonic the Hedgehog. Humans cannot do that.

Udderdude - 2010-07-15

Mid-air fetal position 360 bonus!

fatatty - 2010-07-15

150 page design document....

Not that I'm really surprised.

kingofthenothing - 2010-07-15

I must keep his brain, in a jar, alive.

boner - 2010-07-15

Did you watch his 4th of July fireworks? He described their colors in RGB triplets.

FABIO - 2010-07-16

Either that man is supposed to be 100 feet tall or it isn't to scale and that really isn't 400 mph =(
