that image of mr tastee with the explosion in the background was my computer wallpaper for years

and this show was absurdly ahead of its time

When I first watched this episode I wondered if it was written by the guys I hung out with in my childhood neighborhood. The ice cream guy who ran our route was a nice old guy who we assumed had NO life outside of the ice cream truck runs. We often felt bad for him and would worry what happened to him on weeks he didn't show up.

Anyway, P&P was a genius show.

Why tv doesn't have good shows like this one anymore?

I loved this show.

But now I can't help but see dark undertones.

I don't want to shit on anyone's childhood euphoria but my kid tv was so much better than your kid tv.

That poor pedophile is consistently trying to do the right thing, but these kids want to be molested so bad they wont take know for an answer.
