Probably stronger and better, too. Anywho, the original was made from a motorcycle helmet and not some ridiculous mold. With the technical labor involved the price was like $16k if I remember correctly.

Friend of mine makes fun of me for having not beaten a video game I've been playing on and off for 4 months now when I don't have better stuff to do, so 17 for a project of actual value doesn't seem so bad.

I posted this mostly because the skill involved. Like daft punk or not, if you've ever tried molding/casting/sculpting, you'd recognize the quality of work this guy has done. I'm most impressed with the symmetry he managed to get without halving the entire model first.
I have no idea why that's sad.
