Comeuppance
I can't be the only one who thinks Homestuck is kinda lame. I stopped reading the archives after about the 200th chat log. I mean, the average was 10 pages of chatlog, and then a VERY brief scene where something happened, and then more chatlogs.

Maybe those who are more current on the series can tell me why my opinion is stupid. Does he ease up on the chatlogs at all?

That's basically how I feel about all of MS Paint Adventures. It's all LOL RANDOM CHEESE MONKEY BANANA and just, you know. Meh.

Without knowing that this was part of MSPaint Adventures I'd still think this was just kind of, what? I guess I'm just not cool enough to get inside references to stupid webcomics.

I really liked Problem Sleuth. I liked it so much that I just assumed Homestuck would be good - and it was, for about 6 months.

Now it just kinda sucks. It takes itself too seriously and tries to make up for it with ALL CAPS PROPER NOUNS THAT ARE SILLY. He doesn't really let the forum members guide the story anymore, either - which was the entire reason the idea worked in the first place. It's just his shitty and unnecessarily complicated plot with few occasional, minor, and very brief detours due to audience suggestions.

It's a shame. At least he can't (read: hopefully won't decide to retroactively) ruin Problem Sleuth.
