BG2 is still one of the best games ever made, I play it through about twice a year. Nostalgia nothing.

Funny how people that hate this game go out of their way to burn it. Hell, I'm sure I'll get some floundering excuse about how things you don't like should be persecuted. This was far from perfect, and I liked BG2 better, but you know, I had fun with this too. Baldur's Gate was a shitty, boring slog too, though. Especially when you had to hop out of game to figure out which spell will tear down some asshole mage's defenses, or which weapons don't suck a bag of dicks and where the good ones can be found.
