This is somehow more offensive than if they just started burning crosses and trying to get rid of the "wetbacks".
Stupid but otherwise decent people can be openly racist. But manipulating a story on cumulative voting (which is practiced across the US and accords everyone in the election equal votes regardless of race) into a completely misrepresentation for the purposes of race-baiting requires a person to have no soul.
"Some say the constitution is being shredded to advance (pause) racial politics": Oh, fuck you, you damn evil coward.

The smirking douche is either really this stupid or he does a good job of acting like he genuinely believes that this system gives hispanics 6 times the voting power of white people. I want to punch him either way, but I would feel better punching an asshole than someone who is retarded.
|
baumer - 2010-08-10 Of course he knows better. They're careful to state that everyone gets the 6 votes, but to imply otherwise.

IrishWhiskey - 2010-08-10 The wording is carefully chosen every time to give the impression that only Latinos get more votes, that illegal immigrants can vote, and that this is a radical new idea (insert photo of black judge), without saying anything demonstratively false. The more blatant lies are framed as questions or "some say".
Any idiot can misunderstand an idea, it takes malicious intelligence to so carefully misrepresent it.

Ahahahahahaha, the "There he is" timed with the post up of the Black Judge's picture.... I guess this is how they get around just saying "the nigger judge in this case" on Fox.

Toenails - 2010-08-10 Oh, and to all of you cornballs shouting about how EVERYONE gets six votes:
I didn't get to cast six votes in this election. In fact, I didn't even get to cast one vote! Do you liberAWLS want to know why? Could it be that it was maybe because I was white???
Huh???
HUH???
...or maybe it was because I don't anywhere near Port Chester, NY?

Oh, it's about the Constitution. Suddenly television news readers, not federal judges, are arbiters of constitutional law. And only when it's a decision that they don't like. Calling the presidential election for Bush or allowing you to carry armor piercing bullets -- those are, of course, issues where judges got the Constitution right.
