Dread Pirate Roberts - 2010-08-21 This is pretty intense. Took me a minute or two to start appreciating the full effect. For the the thunder way above the mic is the best part. You can hear all sorts of directions in it. Pretty wicked.
pineapplejuicer - 2010-08-21 i wanted to post "FAKE" or "i came" or any other good old poe standby but this is actually pretty cool and relaxing
pineapplejuicer - 2010-08-21 also i like on her website that it WAS .99 but can now be mine for the low, low price of .99!
Old_Zircon - 2010-08-21 The next step beyond being the kind of audiophile who only listens to classical is being the kind of audiophile who only listens to environmental recordings.

Cube - 2010-08-21 Now that you mentioned it, being an audiophile I must mention that the compression on the sound is horrible and ruins whatever illusion there could be of an actual surrounding.
It's a very, very crappy way to advertise a recording, how ever you might supply the "good" version elsewhere.
trinitron - 2010-08-21 They did they step about 50 years ago. Passing trains, parades, etc. And thunderstorms.
Goober - 2010-08-28 Environmental records - double check!
