His analogies reminds me of a discussion I had with someone who kept insisting that all the problems in the Catholic church could be explained by the spread of Islam. They couldn't explain any of the mechanism to this phenomenon or offer any kind of proof which can only mean that episode of Glenn Beck has yet to air.

Oliver raises a good point. Religious buildings offend other religions, so let's just stop putting them up.
That sets a dangerous precedent though. What if atheists want to build a church near ground zero? Sorry, no religious buildings, I guess you'll have to build your "laboratory" in another country. Next kids wearing supercolliders around their necks will be told to take them off.
