As a guy with less than great opinions on jrpg's and anime, I'll admit, there is some intriguing dream imagery going on, and Persona 4 was good enough (albeit through the huge Giant Bomb endurance run) to warrant giving it a chance if it hits the U.S.

pineapplejuicer i'm gonna have to dork right the fuck out and insist that demon's souls is not at all a JRPG. demon's souls is the first time a major japanese developer has imitated the western RPG model and the results are astounding. i think of JRPG as a very specific genre that involves a relatively linear storyline and a battle system based around choosing selections from menus, demon's souls doesn't fit into this category at all and its unfair to lump it there just because it's from japan.
i love that game. but fuck that game. most simultaneously enjoyable/miserable lovable/despisable game ever.

If there's one thing Atlus has always been great it, it's putting jus the right amount of gameplay footage into their trailers so that you're pretty sure it's a game, but have no fucking clue what kind of game it is or how it's played.
As always with them though, music was pretty cool. Now if they'll just get their shit together and make SteamBot Chronicles 2 I'll be happy.

Looks interesting, great music and premise. I watched this earlier and was surprised to see it here. Really hoping for a localization so everyone can enjoy it.
Emotional, relationship-driven games have been ignored in the US for way too long, even from niche companies. More character interaction, less space marines, thanks.

Zarathustra00 If you're going to get games like that to become accepted in the US you'll have to be subtle in introducing them. The solution: an emotional, relationship-driven game about space marines. Now if you will assemble the programmers, I'll begin gathering Halo fanfiction and we'll make this happen.
