More like FATLUS.
Well, I guess no one can criticize ATLUS for cranking out another jrpg or strategy/rpg with snes quality graphics this time.
Stars for 2:08
Plenty of 2D/retro/sprite games end up looking way more interesting than modern 3D. Style is not indicative of quality. Also I am fat.
Something tells me this isn't getting an American release.
Good to see the guy from Persona 3 getting work though.
I don't want to be a curmudgeon, but how will I play this game with friends without blushing?
i can't imagine anything more kill-yourself horrifying than playing this game in a jc penny
As a guy with less than great opinions on jrpg's and anime, I'll admit, there is some intriguing dream imagery going on, and Persona 4 was good enough (albeit through the huge Giant Bomb endurance run) to warrant giving it a chance if it hits the U.S.

people we have a wtf japan tag for a reason

I don't get it.
*picks a rose and smells the fragrance, then throws it into the air and gracefully bisects it with ninja-to hidden in sleeve*
It could be reference to the herbivore male, carnivore female culture in Japan?

rams are quite scary.
Japan does not understand hallucinogens.
someone didn't see that video of the guy in a horse mask cooking mushrooms.
Fuck Atlus for not putting Demon's Souls out on 360.
i'm gonna have to dork right the fuck out and insist that demon's souls is not at all a JRPG. demon's souls is the first time a major japanese developer has imitated the western RPG model and the results are astounding. i think of JRPG as a very specific genre that involves a relatively linear storyline and a battle system based around choosing selections from menus, demon's souls doesn't fit into this category at all and its unfair to lump it there just because it's from japan.
i love that game. but fuck that game. most simultaneously enjoyable/miserable lovable/despisable game ever.
Point well made, pineapple. I stand by my statement though. The 20 people in japan that own a 360 probably also own a PS3.
I have a girlfriend; can someone explain what's going on here?
Sup, Totally Cool Girlfriend-haver! I'm a Fatlusfag. Here's the story I've gleaned from the web:
32-year-old Vincent cheated on his girlfriend-who-might-be-pregnant with "Catherine" and starts having nightmares, he's afraid if he dies in his nightmares he'll die in real life. It's about relationships and guilt and all that gay shit. Enjoy your flesh tits.
Sure sounds like... something. How do you play it? I have so many questions. Can you call me?
If there's one thing Atlus has always been great it, it's putting jus the right amount of gameplay footage into their trailers so that you're pretty sure it's a game, but have no fucking clue what kind of game it is or how it's played.
As always with them though, music was pretty cool. Now if they'll just get their shit together and make SteamBot Chronicles 2 I'll be happy.
Looks interesting, great music and premise. I watched this earlier and was surprised to see it here. Really hoping for a localization so everyone can enjoy it.
Emotional, relationship-driven games have been ignored in the US for way too long, even from niche companies. More character interaction, less space marines, thanks.
If you're going to get games like that to become accepted in the US you'll have to be subtle in introducing them. The solution: an emotional, relationship-driven game about space marines. Now if you will assemble the programmers, I'll begin gathering Halo fanfiction and we'll make this happen.
