The fact that people slept out to see this film really IS incredible.

badideasinaction - 2010-08-21 I was guessing some prize not at all related to the movie for the first 100 people in line.

I'm actually kind of surprised Friedberg and Seltzer aren't both active tags considering the mind numbing dreck they have put out for the past couple of years.
Have they ever been a part of anything remotely resembling something funny? Really, is there anything at all, or is finding anything they have ever been a part of like admitting mental illness?

BHWW - 2010-08-20 I understand this movie is a step forward for them since they actually stick to one target, the Twilight films instead of cramming in references to whatever blockbusters were coming out this year.
It's still supposed to be pretty horrible though.

Riskbreaker - 2010-08-20 They don't even watch the movies they are making "spoofs" from. They just watch the trailers and that's it.

Jellyneck - 2010-08-21 According to the trailer, one of the vampires randomly shoots Alice from Alice in Wonderland for some reason. And the cast of Jersey Shore go to their high school, which appears to be simultaneously the setup and punchline for a joke? I don't know.
So, I guess what I'm saying is they don't appear to stick to one target. It's all just another mish mash of pop culture references but Twilight probably gave them the best marketing angle this time.
They'll make a comfortable profit.

From the wiki:
" Vampires Suck has received overwhelmingly negative reviews from critics, it currently has a 'Rotten' score of 3% on Rotten Tomatoes, with the consensus being 'Witlessly broad and utterly devoid of laughs, Vampires Suck represents a slight step forward for the Friedberg-Seltzer team.' "
True Story: I saw Disaster Movie in theaters with some work friends. They both liked it. I quit my job the next week and no longer talk to them.

150% the budget, and that's total gross.

spikestoyiu - 2010-08-21 I got stuck watching "Meet the Spartans" on TV with a girl who speaks very little English. She laughed quite a bit. It was pretty surreal.

Wow! A parody of something on the TV that is happening that I don't care about.
