WTF is this kid talking about?

It's all Korean to me.

StanleyPain - 2010-09-04

SOME GUY MAPHACKED WEREN'T YOU LISTENING??

StanleyPain - 2010-09-04

Actually, serious response:
He's alleging that the person he was playing with was using some sort of hack to see the entire map rather than have to deal with fog-of-war and using scouts to reveal the map like you're supposed to.

FABIO - 2010-09-04

There's an option in replays to watch it through the view of the selected player; it shows you what he was looking at when.

He claims this guy was always looking at vital areas with hidden armies he couldn't normally see.
It's mildly suspicious, enough to earn half a shrug.

A lot of "pro" starcraft people will go on about APM (actions per minute) like it was some kind of POWER LEVEL of skill, but most of it is just spastic nervous twitching where they HAVE TO always be doing something. I'd probably chalk it up to that.

But yeah, there's the list of "things I could have been doing other than paranoid analyzing and cataloging a possible video game cheat for hours".

FABIO - 2010-09-04

And here he is going on about it in the forums!

You spelled that last tag incorrectly - the correct spelling is either n-e-r-d-s or k-o-r-e-a-n-s.

RocketBlender - 2010-09-04

Fixed it for you

phalsebob - 2010-09-04

The Huggable Universe - 2010-09-04

How much do you think he could have improved his ELO in the time it took him to make this video?

Command & Conquer is better than Starcraft.

RocketBlender - 2010-09-04

True. I never said I like the game. Fuck, I don't even understand half the terms he uses in this video, but I do know some grown adult made a 14 minute video to complain about something cheating in a game. That's gotta be worth something to you.

Doomstein - 2010-09-04

Zerg, and to the left...

It's in the description dude.

Scrotum H. Vainglorious - 2010-09-04

Serious business.

Udderdude - 2010-09-04

There's going to be a million billion hacks for this game until Blizzard pulls their head out of their ass, so you better get used to it.

RocketBlender - 2010-09-04

No chance in hell this game will get that much support, I imagine. They're too busy tweaking the game people pay them monthly for, they've already collected all they can from starcraft until they start doing expansions.

Back in college I had a friend who was really into Warcraft II and always wanted to play it all the time. I sucked at it and didn't have any desire to get any better. But he'd keep on insisting that I play because he thought it'd be fun if he had more people to play against. So I agreed to a game, and he beat me very quickly. He wanted to play again, but I was still uninterested, but I agreed to play one more time.

While he was working on building his home base and gathering resources (and spending all his resources on buildings rather than on more units), I devoted my one little peon to finding his base, and when I found it, I attacked his peon, and through a lot of luck, won.

He quit the game in disgust and accused me of cheating. I never played against him again.

3 Hatch Muta/Ling?

On Desert Oasis?

Sounds like his opponent played this on map, versus this strategy before.
