Well I dunno about you but I could really go for a sandwich right now.

Quiznos has the best commercials.
RocketBlender - 2010-09-23
I don't know which is worse: an actual company made a video like this expecting it to work and sell their product, or that it totally did. I could go for a sub right now.
Gayperson - 2010-09-23
hm. that's a pretty good commercial.

They know people go on youtube while stoned, and are therefore influential to hunger.

Thank you, Scynne, because I could find no explanation for this video to save my life.

Super Bowl commercial material right there.

Usually when commercials are aimed at the "internet market" it's just embarassing, but sometimes it works, like this and when Old spice Guy targeted 4chan.
Corman's Inferno - 2010-09-23
Quiznos was one of the earliest companies to adopt internet memes. Remember the commercials with The Spongmonkeys? "They got a pepper bar!"

Old_Zircon - 2010-09-23
I haven't had cable in a long time, I mostly watch stuff on the Internet. Not in a "TV is evil" snobby way, in an "I don't like enough of what's on TV to justify the cost" way.

All I can think of is Luvkitty's Castle.

R.I.P. Geocities, long may your memory linger in the Wayback Machine.

Chris-Chan and other poe exhibits are the target audience for this commercial. Now the thought of eating there arrives with the thought of running into DemoniusX at the counter. So much for eating there ever again.
Nikon - 2010-09-23
I wouldn't be able to eat there, but it'd be interesting to visit and listen to his really loud misogynistic rants about women, fleshlights, racism, etc.

Old_Zircon - 2010-09-23
The thing that makes this work is that it's not just taking some popular memes and using them wrong, it's taking common elements of memes in general (abuse of photoshop filters, cats, etc.) and creating something more or less original from them.

Gotta hand it to them...they know their customer base.
