The Sniper Family from the first DR was my first ever submission to poeTV, so I was pretty happy I got to keep this up. From what I've played so far, I'm not going to be short on submission material.

One of the bosses is a guy in a mascot costume on roller skates with super-soakers he MacGuyvered into flamethrowers by duct-taping gas cans to them.

This game fucking owns.

And thank YOU for a new combo item idea. If you haven't seen it yet, my favorite so far is a flashlight combined with gems. I'll let you see what it makes for yourself.

I read that as 'fleshlight' and I got all excited :(

Idiocracy meets dawn of the dead.

Glad to see Will Ferrell as George W. Bush finally star in a videogame.

Dead Rising 2 was actually outsourced to America! Just sayin'.

Billie_Joe_Buttfuck - 2010-09-29

seriously, way to think with your penis again, dork.

pineapplejuicer - 2010-09-29

this is a pretty good game. it is dragged down by its archaic mission/save structure though, which inhibits you from really just going apeshit on the zombies. i'm hoping theres a disable clock cheat or something down the road.

poorwill - 2010-09-29

'it is dragged down by its archaic mission/save structure though'

WHO WANTS DESSERT - 2010-09-29

The saving system is fine unless you're an OCD PC gamer who has to quicksave every 5 seconds.

pineapplejuicer - 2010-09-29

im just more of an ADD-addled mess who wants to play it like a sandbox game, that's all, didn't mean to sound like a douchey reviewer or anything. i'll leave that to yahtzee

Chalkdust - 2010-09-29

It took me a bit to get used to the save system at first, but after playing Case Zero I have totally fallen into the groove. Realize it's a survival game first and an action game second. I find it compels me to take responsibility for my own fate, which is quite appropriate for a survival-based game. The save reminders following each story mission are nice, as well.

pineapplejuicer - 2010-09-29

and for whats its worth i very nearly dropped the controller in joy while broadswording my was through a dense patch of zombies dressed in a football uniform with aviator shades under my helmet

Innocent Bystander - 2010-09-29

Also check out part 2.

Corman's Inferno - 2010-09-29

You know what I'd really like to play? A game based off Gahan Wilson's story "Come One, Come All," where a carnival barker drapes a big top over a mincemint pie machine and lures the undead into it with showmanship.
