Snow being a very rare event + actual hills = fun time!

Portland and Seattle have basically zero infrastructure for dealing with snow. It's so uncommon and typically lasts such a short period of time it's not worth spending the money on it.

It's not so much the snow but the freezing rain that is really dangerous for drivers in the pacific NW.

The ice tends to build up during relatively brief periods below freezing and then almost immediately starts to melt, making it extra slippery.

Black ice is the worst thing. Its nearly invisible, and if its foggy, which is almost always the case on winter mornings, it IS invisible, so all of a sudden your car is sliding and you're like WTF! There are certain intersections where it builds up, which makes for extra fun when turning.

But yeah 5 stars for the video, especially the dead model in a trash can part.
