I'm always amazed by how many people use really limiting open tunings and then play stuff that doesn't sound open-tuned at all. t's actuallyreally common, especially in classic rock. Almost all the Creedence songs are in open tunings, and Steven Stills tuned his guitar DADDAD for pretty much his entire career, but you wouldn't really think that to hear them, to name a couple.
