It's all blurring together for the younger generation. I went to an "80's" birthday party last month and half of the songs they played were from the 90's.

This is because culturally decades start after 3-5 years past the actual calendar. The 50s were about '55-'65, the 60s were'66-'74 or so, the 70s lasted until about '83, etc. etc.
