this is an egregious misuse of Mass Effect music

also, why not June 11?
Kieran27 - 2010-11-06
Because the threat must be immediate, whether it be a real terrorist attack, or a conspiracy theory based on the Simpsons. Saying that some catastrophic event will happen in some vague unforseen date in the future doesn't have as much grab as a specific immediate date.

Then again, people are still snapping up books on the Rapture...

pastorofmuppets - 2010-11-06
That one has an immediate date, it's just "tomorrow" so it moves every night at 11:59.

on-topic: why do I not believe him when he says that he hopes his theory is wrong?

The fact that the slo-mo starts a few seconds before the accompanying music is a masterstroke of comedic genius. When the music suddenly starts I laughed so hard that I did that thing where you snort.

If the "Illuminati have infiltrated everything..." .... wouldn't they make sure to keep their plans out of mainstream media? Seems like a stretch to have an all powerful organization controlling everything that happens, and they can't seem to keep their "secret plans" out of an episode of the fucking simpsons.... makes them seem like they're one of those stupid Bond villains that ties you up and explains his whole plan to you before actually killing you.
Xenocide - 2010-11-06
They never should have made The Riddler their minister of propaganda.

Adramelech - 2010-11-07
That is -exactly- the image conspiracy theorists have of the Illuminati.

Mr. Purple Cat Esq. - 2010-11-06
this is amazing! I like the way this guy needs some material with which to create his conspiracies and lets assume he probably doesnt read much... but he does watch a ot of tv!

5 stars to all conspiracy theorists.

Everthing you see on tv is real, always.
memedumpster - 2010-11-06
Everybody knows that successful terrorist attacks only happen when antiterrorist forces are conducting training exercises in the same area, because that's when they are at their weakest.

Coincidence is a powerful motivator of the gullible.
Adramelech - 2010-11-07
Funfact: One of the guys from the Lone Gunmen show did an interview with Alex Jones and claimed the CIA fed them the script for the 9/11 show.
