I hate Margaret Cho.

phalsebob - 2010-11-14

If you five star this you are a racist!

Pillager - 2010-11-14

3 "Why do Republicans hate gay marriage so much? They certainly don't hate gay prostitutes"

StanleyPain - 2010-11-13

Cho has reached Jeff Foxworthy-esque levels of milking a joke for decades: in her case, her ching-chong accent jokes about her mom. Seriously, move on. I don't hate her comedy overall, but these bits are fucking horrible.

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2010-11-13

Most of her most recent stuff is largely political. Beautiful was kind of amazing. She has a great story in that about how she went to the Tolerance Museum in Alabama and people were racist to her.

Oktay - 2010-11-14

Yeah, this bit is about 10 years old, if not older. I was surprised it wasn't here. Didn't mean to start a war.

also: questionable tattoo judgement.

Jet Bin Fever - 2010-11-13

Her face makes me retch. Her comedy isn't much better.

Jellyneck - 2010-11-14

women should all be attractive or not seen

Rosebeekee - 2010-11-14

I can't think of a better time to point this out. From the wiki article on Gwen Stefani's Harujuku girls:

"In an interview in the January/February 2006 edition of Blender magazine, American comedian Margaret Cho calls Stefani's Harajuku Girls a "minstrel show" that reinforces ethnic stereotypes of Asian women."

Now listen to her tell this joke again.

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2010-11-14

I think there's a difference between relating the story of one's own immigrant family to a general audience and exploiting the stereotypes of an ethnicity you aren't a part of to make a quick buck.

RomancingTrain - 2010-11-14

Nope, still minstrelry.

Rosebeekee - 2010-11-14

True ROUS, but Margaret Cho could have easily told this joke using a normal Korean accent and not stretching/flattening her face. She's not one to complain about negative asian stereotypes.

Rum Revenge - 2010-11-16

Yeah, it's pretty hypocritical of her to reinforce the negative stereotype of Asian Moms who are morbidly curious about gay ass porn. It's been a mark of shame for the entire Asian Mom community.

FABIO - 2010-11-14

If there was ever one comedian I hoped I'd never have to listen to again it's her.

phalsebob - 2010-11-14

If you one starred this you are a racist!

Konversekid - 2010-11-14

I would be seen as a racist, however, I think it deserves an extra star since she chinks her eyes up more when she does her impression.

theSnake - 2010-11-14

ass... master?? lol

TheSupafly - 2010-11-14

Margaret Cho is worth one more than no stars.

The New Meat - 2014-06-17

Remember in 2006 when Margaret Cho thought she could ride that Kelly/Shoes bandwagon back to cultural relevance?

CornOnTheCabre - 2014-06-17

margaret cho's alright
