Cynical observation: Fox News folks don't actually believe the shit they spew and are only in it for the money because, and this is the twist, they believe their audience are fucking morons and the country is doomed anyway.
Here is my theory: They are such free market extremists that their is literally no separation between their actual beliefs and the beliefs they are paid to have.
No one intelligent and/or motivated enough to get into major media journalism could even remotely believe the dumb shit that comes out of Fox News. It's all an elaborate hoax to placate hillbillies and middle class racists.
This could be seen as a crack in the foundation of Fox News, and ultimately the downfall of the network. Never underestimate the fickle nature of stupid people.
