everyone unconsciously kind of realizes this, and so telling the story of chris chan to a group of people who are unaware of how he related to them just didnt go over well.

NewHeavenSalesman I think the thing is that Chris-Chan is so notorious that he's known beyond normal troll websites, so your stupid secluded internet loser sees him and his mountains of embarrassment, and decides he too can totally mock this guy by repeating JULAY JULAY a hundred million times.
It also helps that Chris's popularity means that even if you upload the most embarrassing rant about Chris-chan imaginable, you're still going to get like 500+ views on youtube about it, minimum.
