Wait a minute... this is the same song from the Polar Bear scoreboard animation.
An homage to it's forefather in poorly animated CGI sports promos?

frequently used by album rock radio stations for tv promos in the '80s.
Having been to a wide range of college sports games I can assure you that overuse of this song is still alive and well.
I remeber seeing this, way back as a kid.
No matter where you are in Chicago, you can see the horizon on the outskirts of the city.
Also, it's constantly consumed with lightning, like Highlanders are fighting.
Yep, you can not only see the horizon, but another little known fact: There is nothing but grass and the occasional tree outside of the city. The entire South side is a myth.
