The youtube comments are dumbfounding.

Not really. They are moderated. I just tried to make a comment and it's pending approval.

My guess is that my comment will not be approved.

This video is so begging for a certain embittered editor to give it a spin...

Looks like they approved your comment:

"Mad props an awesome kid right here :D keep on doing it big and you will make it talent is getting younger its great =) "

Aye-ohhhhhh!

wtf japan
I wish we could have a stage parents week.
Oktay
I know it's probably my imagination, but it feels like there is very subtle pitch correction going on all over the place. For instance, check out the weird phasing of his voice around 4:22-4:24 as he's going "oh-ah-oooooh".
Jellyneck
A buddy of mine used to work as a recording engineer and the most soul destroying parts of his job involved auto-tuning rich kids who had way more money than talent.

Jet Bin Fever
"soul destroying" would be an adequate description of this video too.

phalsebob
I noticed as well. But my five stars are for 1970s sitcom kid's hair.

ItsAboutTime
Listening to this abomination on good equipment is torture. Pretty much every part is heavily autotuned and eq'ed in a shameless manner. Oh well, fuck the parents!

fluffy
Whoever was doing the autotune work did a good job of hiding the most blatant problems with it (meaning they spent a LOT of time and therefore money on it), but yeah there is clearly a lot of tuning going on.

Oktay
I guess there's a reason grandma is in this song.

Love the related videos of other kids striving for the Bieber gravy train.
Spoonybard
The key to Justin Bieber's success was being friends with Usher.

Look out Japanese girl pop, America is throwing down!
mouser
With a gender-confused lesboricanoid.

feathersfall
My favorite part is the Eartha Kitt slash Zelda Rubenstein monster at the beginning.
Chalkdust
y'know grandma (gammy?), SingStar is available for under twenty dollars
Spoonybard
SingStar is for poor kids.
