More evidence that everybody who has ever bitched about "political correctness" is human garbage.
i love how one of their big arguments is that NO ONE WILL LET WHITE PEOPLE HAVE ANYTHING FOR THEMSELVES
because if there's one thing this world has a crippling lack of, it's thing that are exclusive to white people
False. This clip nonwithstanding, you have to get a taste of the rhetoric of honest-to-goodness, academic-myopic word police to understand the real objections to PC. In short, it accomplishes nothing and verges on assessing thoughtcrime, just to make sociology Ph.D's feel better about their guilt.
Also it makes everyone needlessly paranoid and opts for superficial changes in labels rather than addressing anything more meaningful. These are the people that would like to outlaw Huckleberry Finn because of the N-word, heedless of context. It's like being a crazy church lady purging the library, only from the opposite angle.
But this debate is quite 90's. The PC wave rolled back, thank God.

One of Heimdall's kenning-like names was "Gullintani", meaning "golden-toothed". So why didn't they tap Flavor Flav for the job? He could even bring his own hat.
And yes, almost anyone who complains about "political correctness" these days is an entitled asshole. Basically the fat lady who crams herself into the elevator and bitches that the people compressed into her ass should have taken the stairs.

I think some smarmy white supremacists have been vandalizing the mythological figure's page:
Heimdall (Old Norse Heimdallr, modern Icelandic Heimdallur) is one of the ćsir (gods) in Norse mythology, in the Edda called the "Black god" (hvítastr ása "Darkest of the aesir Sćm 72Ş; hvíta ás "dark as" Sn. 104).

Every internet debate eventually returns to the topic of Obama and his presidency.
