One thing I dont understand. I saw woman near the beginning holding a few banners. One of them read "God is your enemy" while the other read "Obey God".
Why would I obey my enemy? Dosent Westboro believe that everyone is going to hell anyway, regardless of what they do?

Just because hate of homosexuals is the axis of these morons' dogma doesn't mean you should counter protest with a display of homosexuality. You don't have to make it about the gays, but about love and respect. You don't have to imply that only homosexuals hate these fucktards.

But I like this. You're never going to convert any of the younger Phelpses by telling them how much you hate them. That just confirms their own ideology. We should try to minimize the effectiveness of their protest without being mean around all the kids they drag with them.

pastorofmuppets One thing I have to say about Westboro: they know how to make signs that are readable from a distance. So many people lack that skill. They should go into sign-making and forget about religion and all that.
