badideasinaction - 2011-01-12 The version of KQ1 they show is a re-release, not the original. KQ1 pretty much has the same graphics as the KQ2 they show. You die much faster in the first game from the moat if I recall correctly - you pretty much start right next to it and 1 second of walking up takes you to your death.

Fuck this series. I gave up on KQIIIs ridiculous shit of having to do everything according to schedule of when the wizard comes home and all that. I never played another one until I briefly dabbled with KQ5 which, though astonishingly gorgeous at the time, was also bullshit.
