They should have held a d20 conference instead. Nobody except some christian fundamentalists could possibly protest a DnD convention.

Loser protesters going to jail doesn't mean we live in a police state.
"I STILL HAVE MY GUNS SO I'M FREE! WEEEEEEEEEEEE!"
First they came for the Loser Protesters,
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a Loser Protester.
Then they came for the Liberal Union Boot Lickers for Obama,
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a Liberal Union Boot Licker for Obama.
Then they came for the trade Faux Libertarian Trolls,
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't quite a Faux Libertarian Troll.
Then they came for silly John Cena worshippers that love facepaint,
and there was no one left to speak out for me.
Lame wood: I'm not saying it like that. Though it is good we have been winning many recent battles for the right to bear arms. However the facts are is despite the fact that these G20 always turn into arrest fests not because they want to oppress freedom of speech, but to prevent the craziness that happened in Seattle from happening again.
This happened in Toronto anyways. Nobody should expect freedom in Canada.
Toenails. They'll never come for the Chain Gang as we are too powerful.

So what does living in a police state mean then?
|Cena_mark - 2011-01-19 |
Well according to Wikipedia "The term police state describes a state in which the government exercises rigid and repressive controls over the social, economic and political life of the population. A police state typically exhibits elements of totalitarianism and social control, and there is usually little or no distinction between the law and the exercise of political power by the executive."
Protests in the US and Canada usually run rather smoothly, but the protests from these summits are too full of anarchist crazies to work. Then a jackass throwing rocks at police gets arrested and liberal weeners act like its we're living in an Orwellian Hell.
Or as shown in the first 10 minutes of this clip, police agents disguised as protestors infiltrate the peaceful protest with rocks and bottles, planning to incite a riot against the uniformed police, who then arrest everyone, shutting down the protest. In this case the organizers out the police agents before they can do their nasty work. Later the Toronto PD under heavy pressure acknowledge the men as their own.
If this is not a police state tactic, then what is, Mark?
That's just conspiracy nonsense. Go listen to Alex Jones.
I suppose you're right, Mark. Like tidal forces and magnets, there is no explanation. We must trust in God and our government, yes?
I'm military now. I rage for the machine.
There's no way you are in the military. They have a policy against letting retards in.
Outside of that, you wouldn't know freedom if it bit you on the ass. Your kind of freedom is the kind that ignores that you live in a third world country and thinks that if you just keep shouting a jumble of patriotic drivel loud enough, eventually it will form some kind of coherent point with logical validity.
Seriously, though, you are too retarded to be issued a weapon. Then again, you are 'free' in a crumbling oligarchy where the infant mortality rate is higher than Cuba's, and the literacy rate is lower.
You are the epitome of the whiny armchair conservative general faggot; you wouldn't have the capacity to wield a clue if it was a shard of mastodon femur and you were screeching and shitting yourself in front of a 5 metre high monolith.
