Stop saying I'm threatening violence or I'll kick your ass!

BorrowedSolution - 2011-01-15

Holy shit. I never noticed what a whiny blowhard this guy is until now.

baleen - 2011-01-15

Really? Well, welcome to the club.

memedumpster - 2011-01-15

Moments like these really break my suspension of disbelief while watching MSNBC. Most times the actors seem so natural, but some nights they just phone it in.

Also, NORTH'S GONNA' RISE AGAIN, Y'ALL!!!

Hooker - 2011-01-15

This is nobody's fault. Sarah Palin must repudiate!

Olbermann is the absolute worst part of the left-wing media. By miles, not inches. He is blatant partisanship dressed up in the most outrageous liberal cliches. He effectively marginalizes any idea he gets his hands on.

Hooker - 2011-01-15

Wait, I was being hasty in my rage. Of course, Bill Maher is the worst part of the left-wing media.

StanleyPain - 2011-01-16

So what exactly did he say that's not true or accurate or a well spoken sentiment? Are you disagreeing with him? I mean...outrageous liberal cliches? Really? On par with, say, Michael Moore? What exactly did Olbermann say wrong here?

Anaxagoras - 2011-01-16

He dared to say things strongly. That's enough for him to be considered a terrible blowhard liberal blah blah blah

CharlesSmith - 2011-01-16

People hate smart people who tell the truth. This is why so many people hate Dawkins, Olbermann, Chomsky et al. but can never come up with a coherent reason why or an example of something they said or did that is disagreeable. They're just mad that someone smarter than them know more than they do, and that person must be a huge giant asshole for allowing them to notice this.

phalsebob - 2011-01-16

I'll just point out that my exclamation point is not ironic.

Samisyosam - 2011-01-16

I'm on the "I agree with everything Olbermann says, but he's not going to change anyone's mind if he comes off like an angry, raving, smug douchebag all the time" side of the fence.

Hooker - 2011-01-16

I started my post with my objection to his content.

Caminante Nocturno - 2011-01-16

The idea of someone not being apathetic and numb towards current events makes cowards get angry.

Hooker - 2011-01-16

That... what? Are we having an honest conversation, Caminante?

MrBuddy - 2011-01-17

The problem is Olbermann isn't telling the truth. Sarah Palin didn't put bullseye targets on the faces of 20 Representatives, she put targets on a US map. The ones who used bullseye targets was the Democratic Leadership Council (http://www.dlc.org/ndol_ci.cfm?contentid=253055&kaid=127&subid=17 1). Olbermann says that if two people bring a gun to a political rally, each on a separate and individual occasion, then political rallies are becoming indistinguishable from a gun show. That's not honest. If Olbermann is genuinely concerned about violence influencing venerable, mentally ill people, shouldn't he mention Jared Loughner played countless hours of mature rated Diablo series and liked Drowning Pool's song Bodies (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5JZ9djZa180) well enough to put it on the YouTube video of himself? Of course, millions and millions of people played Diablo and listened to Bodies without killing anyone, but shouldn't we say the same Palin's map? Most people know the truth is Loughner was just a random lunatic who would have caused some serious suffering with or without right wing rhetoric.

FABIO - 2011-02-02

Diablo vs gunsights on a map (with the names of said representatives each gunsight targeted).

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME THE DIFFERENCE????
