Goofy Gorilla This right here is the bleakest samurai movie ever made. Kurosawa could and would not have even thought to make a samurai movie this dark and hopeless.
Jet Bin Fever It's a beautiful film and truly dark. I happened to watch it on a painfully rainy day, and I remember the specific feeling walking back. There's a Japanese word for it, I'm sure.
