twinkieafternoon Kevin stares in silence and horror. His smugness is an act, a boyish phase of teasing he assumes will give him the benefit of a few chuckles. He's never had to defend anything in his life, because of the distance he regards everyone with. He's only striving for coolness.
"But, Nami," he thinks..."she really doesn't know, does she? She can't really be that mean, can she be?" It's the end of his peckish innocence.
