godot - 2011-02-03 Just saying, "hipster" and "indie" in general parlance convey next to nothing anymore. > 95% of music (and < 5% of music sales) is indie in its original sense of independent label/distribution. "Hipster" meant "overeducated/underemployed youth slumming on the bad side of town" for decades before it got its current gloss: "overeducated/underemployed youth slumming on the bad side of town, doing things I personally don't like."
