a good friend of mine had him as a film professor at syracuse university. he said he was a total academic hard ass and when the class did poorly on the first test and complained, he told them "thought you were gonna get an easy A from ol' robocop, eh?"

I took that class the first year he did it. Had no idea it was that particular Peter Weller teaching it until Buckaroo fucking Banzai walked in. I smoked a cigar with him and we discussed The Passion of the Christ, which is probably the coolest thing I've ever done.

I don't know if that's sad.
